Distance to Energy Calculator

This calculator calculates kinetic energy from distance, time, and mass. The formula is:

\[ E = \frac{1}{2} \times m \times v^2 = \frac{1}{2} \times m \times \left(\frac{d}{t}\right)^2 \]

Where:

  • E is kinetic energy (Joules)
  • m is mass (kg)
  • d is distance (m)
  • t is time (s)
  • v = d/t is velocity (m/s)

Example: If an object with mass 10 kg travels 100 m in 5 seconds:

  • Velocity = 100/5 = 20 m/s
  • Energy = 0.5 ร— 10 ร— 20ยฒ = 0.5 ร— 10 ร— 400 = 2000 J
