Ball Volume Calculator
Calculate the volume of a sphere (ball) using its radius measurement.
Formula
$$V = \frac{4}{3} \cdot \pi \cdot r^3$$
Where r is the radius of the ball.
Example
For a ball with a radius of 4.2 inches:
- Apply the formula: V = (4/3) × π × 4.2³
- Calculate the cube: 4.2³ = 74.088
- Multiply by π: 74.088 × 3.14159 = 232.83
- Multiply by 4/3: 232.83 × (4/3) = 310.28 in³
The volume of a ball with a 4.2-inch radius is approximately 310.28 cubic inches.
